Why I changed springs to A50 type in my Austin A40 Devon

The reason why I had to use Austin A40/A50 Cambridge Springs in my A40 Devon restoration is because the studs clamping the leaves together were a different size, and the leaves being made from hardened steel meant it wasn't any point trying to drill larger holes!
