Morris Minor Traveller (1956) 1:12 scale in old English White by Sun Star. Limited edition of 2000 pieces. The Morris Minor made its debut at the first post-war Motor Show at Earls Court, London in 1948. Designed by Alec Isogonics, who later designed the original Mini, the 1948 Morris Minor had a split windscreen, low level headlights and a "new" monologue construction. 176002 units were manufactured until it was replaced in 1953 by the Series II which went on to sell 269838 units before the introduction in 1956 of Morris Minor 1000. Available in Saloon, Toured (convertible) and Traveler (estate) versions, the Morris Minor became the first British car to sell a million units in 1961 when a Limited Edition model was launched to mark the event. In total, over 1.6 million units were made before its demise in 1971.
