This Video Features the Rare Dodge St. Regis. I recorded these clips in Sept. 2009 & never did make a video of my find until now. So its from my "XFiles". **This Model St. Regis was produced from 1979 til 1981 and available engines are the 3.7 225 slant (I-6), 5.2 318 & 5.9 360 V8's. The St. Regis was based on Chrysler's rear wheel drive R-body platform, based on a modified version of the 1971 B-body design similar platform as the Dodge Charger and the Chrysler Cordoba. The St. Regis name had originally been used on an uplevel trim package on the 1956 Chrysler New Yorker hardtop coupe, and again on the 1974-78 Chrysler New Yorker Brougham coupe. **After 1979 the St. Regis went "Fleet Only". Only a relatively small number these St. Regis were made to begin with and several of them were were used and destroyed in action packed and car chase movies in the 1980's!....Making this car rare today. Although it has never been and is not today a popular "collectors car" in a traditional sense of the word. Thanks, -BOGAR!
