1973 Checker Marathon 4 door sedan

Description

These huge vehicles were often used as taxis in major metropolitan areas in the United States. New York City mad extensive use of them. The back seat could easily accommodate 3, while 2 could sit on the jump seats. Originally, I believe they had a 6 cylinder powerplant, but eventually, Chevy supplied a V8 for them. They also made a station wagon...Checker supplied both the four door sedan and station wagon to the public also.
