The Audi A6 hasn't been a massive hit within the chauffeur industry - but Audi is hoping to change this with the all-new A6. Taking its looks and technology from the all-new A8, we went to the home of Audi in Munich to find out more about its latest addition. Already we've heard some impressive figures for the new A6 - the entry level 2.0 TDi front wheel drive model promises 57mpg and a CO2 figure of only 129g - and performance is not compromised - as 177bhp and 380lb torque puts it ahead of an Mercedes E220. Here's something you probably didn't know about the outgoing A6. In the boot is 546 litres of boot space which on paper is bigger than the new A8. Even though Audi has reduced the boot size in the new model by 20 litres, it is still bigger than the A8. Audi has redesigned the bland interior of the outgoing model and given the A6 the look and feel of the manufacturers flagship model by giving the A6 WIFI hotspot status, navigation with Google earth mapping which works from your 3g connetion and Audi's Pre-Sense system which applies braking if a crash is immanent. It's lightweight design and adaptive suspension system makes it as agile as a much smaller vehicle - comfort settings give passengers a smooth and silky ride and dramatic exterior looks makes the A6 as impressive to look at, as it is to drive.
