Dealer Promo Film. These films were created by Roy Ross and used by Chrysler Plymouth Dealers using their Kodak Supermatic 60 film projectors. They could be viewed by sales people or even by the potential customer. The Kodak Supermatic 60 film system was launched in the early 70's. They used a film loop cartridge. 1975 was the year Plymouth introduced the Arrow, It was a replacement for the Rootes Group produced Plymouth Cricket. The Arrow was based off the Mitsubishi Celeste. Actually, it was a badge engineered car in that there are only slight differences. These differences relate more to the USA laws and regulations related to Safety and Emission. Few of these autos have survived. In this film, the commentator claims that Plymouth has sold no other car like this before. In reality, Chrysler Plymouth Dealers sold the Routes Group Sunbeams and Hillmans. The Sunbeam GT was very similar to this car in styling. The Sedan version in between 1968 and 1979 was even called the Sunbeam Arrow in the USA.
