Audi Efficiency Challenge - Day 5

Description

Back to civilization A sensation that washes over some participants on Saturday as the route from Oslo via Gothenburg to Copenhagen feels like a return to civilization and a familiar way of life. This includes four lane highways, speeds of more than 60 mph, industrial areas left and right and a gently rolling landscape that relieves the rugged scenery of the preceding days. Of course, the higher speeds are not so good for efficiency. Well start once more with the star of the event, the new Audi A3 1.6L TDI, which today achieved a best value of 71 mpgUS. The Audi A4 2.0 TDI e also scored another excellent average on the 388 miles segment, this time at 53.4 mpgUS. Today, the Audi TT 2.0 TDI pulled an exceptional consumption figure of 46 mpgUS! This is the most efficient way there is to drive a real sports car :D With exactly double the power, its big brother, the Audi TT RS, completed the day with an average of 34 mpgUS. Intelligent lightweight aluminum construction with both a TDI and TFSI powertrain is paying off for Audi. On day 5, the Audi Efficiency Challenge group left Norway on the E6 continuing to run southwards along the Baltic Sea coast.
