News Update: Hewlett-Packard Nears Decision For New CEO As Hurd Settles In At Oracle

"Hewlett-Packard's (NYSE:HPQ) board of directors is nearing a decision on a successor to take the helm and replace ousted boss Mark Hurd, now CEO of Oracle (NASDAQ:ORCL). HP is reportedly leaning towards choosing internally, a source told Bloomberg. The list included Vyomesh Joshi, who is in charge of the firm's printer business; Todd Bradley, head of the personal computer division; Dave Donatelli, head of storage and server unit; Tom Hogan, executive VP of enterprise sales and marketing; and finally Ann Livermore, executive VP of enterprise business. Hurd left the firm when an investigation into violations of business conduct was announced on August 6th.
