1929 Pierce-Arrow Sedan

Now this is a classic! Note the archer hood ornament radiator cap. A class act, this Buffalo New York company started as a bicycle manufacturer. The Depression did it in, eventually. The Silver Arrow, produced for the World's Fair in 1934, I believe, is a strikingly modern vehicle...too bad the company could not survive the economic bad times. Cadillac was able to survive because it had a lower cost running mate, the LaSalle....Pierce Arrow was not so lucky.
