Another junkyard find! This is a 1100cc 4 Cyl liquid cooled Morris-Wolsey engine (MOWOG) that I am going to restore as my second main project, the first being the GMH 253 V8.

Installed a Delco gear reduced starter from a Kubota machine and gained a bit of oil pressure!

The engine has more than enough HP for the lathe but the load on the crank shaft will destroy it as it is. Morris 1100 will be rebuilt after the Westinghouse Generator.

Basically what this engine needs is a new head gasket, valve lap in, and a good starter motor to run again. Once my tax refund comes in I'll buy all the required rebuild kits for my current engine projects.
