Jonny Drives Chris Hawes's DeLorean DMC-12

October 2008. After the DeLorean Owners Club UK Meet, and after driving one of the other owners' cars, Jonny (me), a DeLorean enthusiast, is given the chance to drive Chris Hawes's DeLorean DMC-12 - another member of the UK owners club. Chris's car is Vin#5255, a 1981 build car, grey interior with manual transmission. Chris's car is available for hire through the website www.delorean-hire.co.uk - He has completed weddings, birthdays, special treat rides as well as TV work - his car was recently featured on Channel 4 advertising an up and coming cooking season starring the likes of Jamie Oliver and Gordon Ramsay.
