Aboard Maserati Khamsin AM120066 during 500 Ferraris against cancer, circuit du Vigeant, western France June 4, 2011. Unfortunately the full lap did not record but I can confirm that in the very capable hands of owner ZB we were as quick as Ferrari road cars 20 years more recent and could brake far later due to the extremely powerful and enduring Citroën hydraulic brakes. The enormous torque of the 4.9 quad cam V8 and the incredibly agile pliant chassis with its perfect 50/50 weight distribution allowed serious speed: a very competent macchina and one which would givea daytona trouble...until the latter ran out of brakes. This Khamsin had a brand new custom made slightly freer exhaust and sounded great as you will notice!
