This non-cat 1.9 turbodiesel guarantees quick dismissal of tailgating morons. Either they willingly back-off or you can make them back-off by double-downshifting and dropping the accelerator to the floor. Result - a fool's eyes and lungs filled with soot. "That'll teach them." At high revs and 'full-throttle' the heavy diesel fuel isn't given enough time to burn. Smokeless when the correct gearing is used though.
