Description

Radical repair of a Fiat 127 engine. When big-end bearing seized I removed the belonging piston and it´s opposing brother. Instead of a 1050cc 4-cyl I now have a nice 523cc P-twin with 180 degree crankshaft. (two opposing pistons for best balance). Probably around 25hp left from the engine. The Fiat flats out at about 80 km/h. Questions are how long the engine will last and how big the reduction in fuel consumption will be. Blog in swedish with photos: em34.mine.nu or 81.231.116.139
