A dim-witted thief was caught red handed when he broke into a police honey-trap car because he had his name and date of birth tattooed on his neck. Aaron Evans, 21, of Lockleaze, was sent to prison for seven months after pleading guilty to smashing into a police covert capture car and taking a sat nav. Bristol Magistrates Court heard how hidden cameras in the Peugeot 406, parked in the NCP car park in Trenchard Street, Bristol, captured his distinctive tattoo just below his right ear. www.thisisbristol.co.uk
