Bösendorfer Model 290 "Black keys"

Description

This piano was part of my inspiration for the Adler 12-string bass. The second string from the left is Jauqo's C#0 string. I took along my Adler 12 just for fun. They are the only two acoustic string instruments with 97 notes. The lower "octave zero" 9 notes are all black keys. The notes are clear and the pitch of each string is easy to identify. I have new types of wire being made that will allow bass guitar strings to have the same detail without being .3 in diameter. I think they will let me take the piano out the door for $150000. Spending time playing these motes has really trained my ear to hear what these notes should sound like.
