Redesigned 2011 Model with thankfully the 2.5L 5 cylinder (170 hp and 177 ft lbs) and not the lame 2.0L 4 cylinder. Interior for this model got so cheap and the 5 cylinder sounds weird but at least it's torquey. I heard that VW has a 1.4L twin-charger (supercharged and turbocharged) 4 cylinder in Europe making around 158 hp and 177 ft lbs of torque but its not here in the US bc of complexity and cost, what a shame, I'd probably buy a golf with that engine if it was here in the US.
