That all-day snowstorm we had in Chicago the day after Christmas didn't stop the ol' red sled. It's always laughed at snow, and it laughed at it Saturday night driving 50 miles home from Grayslake. Because of the mid-engine, it's always had great winter traction in the rear, and depending on how much gas you give it, you can hang the tail out as little or as much as you want. Makes u-turns in the snow a cinch;-) Later on, I'll take it and get the undercarriage and wheelwells powerwashed, but for now, it's fine. And to those who ask why I would take it out in the winter to begin with, my answer is simple: it's a car. That's what it was made for. And it's been doing it without complaint for 25 winters and 143000 miles now. "Lemon"? Not this one.
