Opel Ampera review

Description

The Opel Ampera is the European version of the Chevrolet Volt, an electric car with so-called range extender. The Ampera comes late 2011 (!) on the market in The Netherlands, but we already drove a short ride. The Opel Ampera has a relatively large range (over 500km). It is primarily powered by an electric motor, the built-in motor-generator also delivers power if necessary. That is actually the opposite of a hybrid as we know it. The Ampera has 150 bhp power and 370 Nm of max torque, so the car from 0 to 100 in nine seconds. Interesting? Also via www.abhd.nl
