Screw hybrids!

Description

Last 49 km's with average 3,1 l/100 diesel consumption, trip done today. Last weeks consumption for a total of 329 km's averaged 3,7 litres per 100 km's. Meter 1 is for today, meter 2 is total since last reset (refill). Factory says the Skoda Fabia 1.4 TDI (2005) should average 4,5 litres per 100 km's and 4,0 litres on highway. This was achieved mainly on highway, with some city driving. I expect to reach a little more then 1200 km's on this one tank (45 litres) of diesel. I'm still running on studded winter tyres, so that eats out some of the efficiency. :) In american figures this translates to 63 mpg total average and 75 mpg for today. (I guess most of the trip was downhill)
