Shanghai 2011: The First Two Wheels VW

Description

The Volkswagen Group's Chinese Design-Center presented in Shanghai the first VW on two wheels only: An electro scooter which will be in the market in two years time in order to conquer ex China the metropoles of the world. The front clearly recognisable being VW, a big logo on the hubs, this scooter with a performance of 350 to 700 Watt has a top speed of 50 km/h and a range of 40 km. Simon Loasby, the VW China chief-designer: „Presenting this concept for mobility Volkswagen once more gives proof for its sense of responsibility."
