1933 Rolls-Royce Phantom II Special Town Car

Description

Commissioned by C. Matthew Dick for his beautiful young bride at a staggering cost of $31000, this Brewster-bodied Rolls-Royce was the most expensive car in the world. With its handsome razor-edge design and dramatic V-windshield it is certainly one of the most beautiful Phantom IIs ever produced and perhaps the most significant post-WWI Rolls-Royce in existence. A one-off design it is the first and only one of the three special town cars built that still retains its original coachwork. With just three owners from new, it was sold at RM Auctions Sports & Classics of Monterey in 2008 for $2310000. For more information please visit www.rmauctions.com
