Pedro Magina - Kickflip
Description
taken from Nineteen Hundred And Eighty Five c40 "Following one of the best installments on Ruralfaune's Synth Series, Portuguese synthesist Pedro Magina offers a more substantial debut for NNF. 'Nineteen Hundred And Eighty Five' features eight dream sequence soundtracks in thrall to Tangerine Dream and Harmonia, but probably best compared with the likes of Leyland Kirby, Oneohtrix Point Never or Rene Hell. His synths yearn for their era of birth, some time in a mist of '80s mimetics, but this is 2011 and those pangs have become distorted and muddied, building banks of silty reminisces in a Ballardian lagoon of digitized New Age memories.
