Here we have a very rare and unique car / boat that one seldoms would see. This Amphicar is a British built Triumph engine with a 1147 cc rear mounted inline 4 cylinder with a 4 speed. Traveling on land this car could get up to 70 mph. In water, the Amphicar could do 12 knots. To propel in water the driver just engages a gear lever to transfer power from the drivetrain to dual propellers. 3046 of these Amphicar were imported to the US between 1961 - 1967.
