Amphicars Paddling around at Plunkett Fleetwood Country Cruize-In, London Ont. 2011

3 very cute German-built Amphicars padde around the back pond on the Plunkett Estate at the recent Fleetwood Country Cruize-In, June 2011 ; produced from 1961-67, they were called 'Model 770' as they had top speeds in water of 7 mph, and 70 on land; sadly, they used Triumph components similar to my Spitfire, including engine and Lucas Electrics (what were they thinking, using it in water???)
