M1CQN/P on UHF, FM Simplex Using an Icom IC2725 Dual Band FM Transceiver.

Description

QSO with Barry in Middleton - Tamworth, Staffordshire. He was using an Icom IC-E2820 Dual Band FM & D-STAR Digital Voice enabled Transceiver @ I think 5 watts output. His signals to me were 4/1 but comfortably readable & we were about 50 Miles apart. Thanks for the QSO Barry, I really enjoyed the chat with you & hope to work you soon. I took a look on your web pages, found some very interesting stuff on their, i trust you & Rob 2E0ZAP had a good weekend playing radio & got lots of contacts. Did you manage to work anyone on D-STAR? Also, Barry can you do me a favour & ask Rob where my cup of Tea has got to? My TX/RX was an Icom IC2725 @ 15 watts output into a Watson W-770HB 2m/70cm Dualbander. My QRA was Owler Bar DX Spot @ 333 Meters / 1093 Feet ASL, to the South West side of Sheffield. Latitude: 53°17'46.07"N, Longitude: 1°34'24.82"W. I hope you find this video Barry, please feel free to put a link from your web pages to this video & i hope to work you again soon. Hope you enjoy the video, Regards Dave M0AKB...
